Baptism is a very special occasion in which we welcome an individual into God's family, the Church.
Often it is very young children who are baptised (also known as a christening), but it is also open to adults who have become a Christian later in life, if they were not baptised as an infant.
For more information on this special ceremony, or sacrament, you can visit the Church of England's christenings website (for infant baptism) or visit their pages on adult baptism.
If you would like to arrange a baptism, for yourself or for your child, the first step is to email Susanne, who is co-ordinating baptisms for both churches during the interregnum.
