With immediate effect and until further notice, all weddings and baptisms are now cancelled (if you had one booked, Susanne or Roy will be in touch).
Funerals can take place subject to a thorough risk assessment and are limited to a maximum of 30 attendees. Attendance at funerals is restricted to family and close friends only.
We must remember that our church is more than just our physical building. We can be together in spirit and we must continue to make use of the live streaming services offered by both our neighbouring parishes and by those further afield. We must also continue to be the body of Christ here in High Crompton (and further afield) by living out Christ's love in our daily lives through our support and care for each other - particularly of those amongst us who are most vulnerable.
Our faith gives us a certain hope that nothing (not even coronavirus) can separate us from the love of God. We must look forward, with hope, to that day when we can be together again in body as well as spirit. Until that day comes, stay safe and stay at home.
